A Year Ago Today!!

A year ago today I became a member of myspace!

Little did I know what I was getting into LOL!

I came to myspace in a strange way.  I'm on a number of mailing lists--and on one of them the guy emailed me about making money on myspace.

Eventually I checked myspace out--and decided that I was much more suited to it for personal reasons rather than business!

I started searching for friends in my city.  I had just moved the year before and hadn't made enough friends where I live. 

It was a nice feeling to know at least a few more people who live close by!!

I spent most of last summer on myspace.  It's just about perfect for shy people like me!!!

I've discovered a few more social networks since then--and I love them all.  But myspace was the first!!

It's really been nice to share both the good things and the bad with my friends--and to have a site that's all about me!  (I currently have 85 myspace friends!!!)

Anyway--I just wanted to remember that today.
